Introduction	I am Wendy Dotson, CNM, co-owner of Loudoun Community Midwives, a private nurse-midwifery practice that attends births at Loudoun Hospital, in one of the richest counties in America. But in this blog, I am a volunteer for Midwives for Haiti, a non-profit that strives to reduce the maternal and infant mortality rates in Haiti, one of the poorest countries in the world, by training and supporting midwives and midwifery education.
