Introduction	Gertie’s Dictums is a blog about being an ‘Everyday Woman’ and proud of it. Today’s woman knows that she can glam it up with the best of them, but also hold her head high while picking up her kids from the school gate dressed in tracksuit bottoms and trainers. She can be a Domestic Goddess when she has the time and inclination, but makes no excuses for serving hors d’oeuvres from a packet. Gertie’s Dictums features one or two articles a week on diverse subjects affecting Everyday Women such as; fashion, politics, family life, make-up, entertaining, frugal living in style, and happiness.
