IntroductionI live in rural north central Pennsylvania with my husband, Frank, and my three year-old son, Frankie. I graduated valedictorian from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg in 2000 with a BA in Anthropology and English Writing, and received a MFA in poetry writing from Goddard College in 2005. I have previously published poems in "Pennsylvania English," "Miller's Pond," "American Indian Culture and Research Journal," "The Fourth River," and "Earth's Daughters," among others. a chapbook, Tether, was recently published by Pudding House. I was also a finalist in the White Eagle Coffee Store Press' Fall 2005 Chapbook Contest. I spend my days taking care of my son, letting the dog and cat in and out, reading, writing, daydreaming, visiting with my mother, and planning for the future. My future goals include publishing my work and getting a job at a local college in the field of admissions/student services.
