| Introduction | My earliest artistic influence was my paternal grandmother, who provided my first art materials, and was herself an amateur still life painter. After graduating high school I went to work for the Fort Worth Zoological Park as a wildlife illustrator. Armed with the experience gained while working at the zoo, I began a career as a graphics designer. During those years I began to develop my skills in the fine arts. Although no longer involved in graphics design, I continue to grow as a fine artist. I am self taught and a member of Oil Painters of America. |
