Prior to moving back home to Middle Georgia, I pastored a small United Methodist church near Savannah in addition to working for an area hospice and owning a small private practice. Other experiences include working with people who are homeless, seriously mentally ill, and abusing substances. Areas of clinical experience and training include addictions, anxiety, cognitive-behavioral therapy, complicated bereavement, depression, marital therapy, panic attacks, pastoral counseling, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness-based interventions. I work with children, adolescents, and adults, couples and families. We accept most insurances including Tricare, United Behavioral Health (State Merit) and all Blue Cross/Blue Shield plans. |
