| Introduction | I am just your every day average American girl who loves to learn about other cultures, other ways of life and the beauty that shines in each of these. In everything I am always seeking ways to improve the lives of children- especially those who have been born in to impoverished communities. That is where I fit in with PRECE. PRECE is an educational movement in northeastern Brasil that seeks to empower individuals and communities by providing access to education. I believe that education truly is an equalizer and can provide opportunities like nothing else. This blog documents my journey with the PRECE movement, PRECE communities and PRECE children. |
