Introduction	I have been a full-time mother and enjoy the task of raising children. It has been a learning experience in and of itself. It has also given me the opportunities to explore many interests. One of my interests is Public Policy on the state level. I have been associated with both the Republican and Democratic Parties in the past and have decided that neither has a monopoly on good ideas. It is important to watch the political process in action and think independently. There is currently too little of that in the state. If I decide to run for public office again in the future, balanced opposition may be a factor. In the meantime, you are invited to turn this blog into a conversation. Welcome aboard!
