| Favorite books | This is an old list: "MawMaw," historical fiction about Jesse James' mother; "Coal Black Horse." Just finished "Washington's Crossing" by David Fischer, one of Tony Hillerman's mysteries, and Roberto Bolano's "2666." Think "Sometimes a Great Notion" might be the Great American Novel. Favorite books include "Pale Fire," "Pnin," "Speak, Memory," or almost anything by VN. |
