| Introduction | Duncan and I met as graduate students in the Mississippi Teacher Corps at Ole Miss. I had finished my bachelor's at MSU while Duncan finished at Alabama. During our time as students at Ole Miss, we both lived in Holly Springs, and for two years I taught English I at Holly Springs High School while Duncan taught English II. We started dating the month we moved from Holly Springs, and Duncan proposed ten months later on March 5, 2005. We married later that year on November 26, 2005, also the day Mississippi State beat Ole Miss in the Egg Bowl. Harper Elizabeth joined us April 20, 2007, thus we began this wild ride together as parents, and Sadie Alan arrived November 24, 2008. It is not yet determined whether they will be State, Ole Miss, or Bama fans. |
