| Introduction | My name is Joe Bindert, and I am in my last semester at Rutgers University. As a Journalism and Political Science double major, I am very interested in the concept of “new media” and how it relates to advertising and PR, news reporting, and political campaigns. I believe that these more personalized forms of media, such as Twitter and Facebook, along with the easiness of making podcasts and YouTube videos, allows for lesser-known people and companies to market themselves more successfully along with their more well-known competitors and counterparts. |
