| Introduction | Ajamu James Ayinde is a Master Mental Coach. He graduated from Trinity College in 1991 with a degree in Asian Studies emphasizing multicultural education and performing arts. He was certified in Ericksonian hypnosis in 1996. He completed Trainers Training at the Eastern Institute of Hypnotherapy in Virginia Beach and later that year began a two-year apprenticeship in Neuro-Linguistic Healing™ with Michael Ellner, Ph.D. at the Hypnosis Institute in New York. In 2004 he completed a Master’s degree in Motivational Psychology from Huntington Pacific University in which he profiled the mindsets of elite athletes and performers. He has developed the M.E.N.T.A.L. Games ™ training system based on his sports psychology research, clinical experience and performance background as a professional dancer and martial artist. He holds five certifications in Sports and Performance Hypnosis and has taught across the US and in Canada and England. He was honored with the IACT Therapist of the Year award in 2004. |
