Introduction	I am a stay at home mother of 6 (one is grown). I started blogging to help share our journey to a healthier lifestyle and my urban farming experience. Last year I was diagnosed with stage 3c ovarian cancer and life took a bit of a turn. So I started faith and oiling to share some of that experience and my successes in helping me get through the whole treatment process. I was a Paramedic for over 10 yrs. which has given me a different perspective on my life. My family currently uses a blend of natural and tradition medicine to teach a more broadened way to treat issues that arise. God has been a big part in my life. I have been blessed with 4 adopted children, which were my lesson in that God is in control of my life, not me. I do have one biological child that is currently 4 and one stepson that is 21 and out of the house. My husband has been another huge blessing in my life, he has allowed me to be the wife and mother I have always wanted to be.
