| Introduction | I am an English teacher at Maine South High School in Park Ridge, IL. I have a BA from Davidson College (English), an MA from DePaul (Writing), and a PhD from UIC (Policy Studies). The 2017-2018 school-year marks my 27th year serving in various public high schools in Chicagoland. I taught at Naperville North, and I have been a Chair at York, St. Charles North, and, South's sister school, Maine West. I am an avid user of technology in the classroom, and in the spring of 2011 I became a Google for Education Certified Trainer -- a distinction I continue to maintain. During the course of the 2013-2014 school year, I was a NEA/Better Lesson Master Teacher. |
