When it just feels...write!

Introduction	As far back as I can remember, I've had a great love and respect for the written word. Since I was old enough to read, I have done so voraciously, eagerly devouring any book I could get my hands on. As for the writing, that too came early and throughout my life, it has been a source of pleasure, frustration, healing and growth. I have nearly 30 years of marketing and communications experience, primarily in the healthcare and education finance fields. My favorite opportunity by far was the management of a health and wellness magazine for which I served as project manager, editor and contributing writer. It was probably the most fun I have ever had at work. Now, after nearly twelve years in management, I've branched out a bit to bring that expertise beyond my own cubicle. What I love most is the ability to take the creative reigns wherever they may lead me. My amazing family provides me with abundant fodder for creative (and occasionally entertaining) writing. Ultimately, I hope it will lead me to my life’s ambition – to get that novel that lies within me onto paper. Sometimes, I am actually confident that I can do it!
