| Introduction | I'm just a simple wife and mama. I'm very blessed. Each day I get to wake up and thank the Lord for a new day. A fresh start with endless possibilities. I loved being a homeschool mama, but that role over and I'm busy trying to get used to being an 'empty nester' and all that that entails. Less cooking, less running around and WAY less laundry! Praise the LORD! That doesn't mean there aren't any challenges, but the joys far outweigh the struggles. My children are our Dreamer - a wonderful 23 year old girl with a passion for bunnies, tea, anthropology, books and houseplants - she is currently studying at University of Nebraska, Lincoln - a long way from home! Our Storyteller is a truck crazy 21 year old boy whose mind takes in facts like a sponge soaks up moisture. He is studying for the ministry at Pensacola Christian College and the thing he's missing most (more than my cooking) is HUGS!!! So, if you're looking for me, I'll be around. Doing a tiny bit of laundry, making dinner, tackling my MASSIVE sewing project pile, reading a good book, or spending time with my favorite people - just doing what I love. |
