Introduction	My name is Samantha, Sam by most. I’m 21 years old from Vermont, USA. However, I have decided to leave my two brothers, sister, and mum behind to attend Uni across the big ‘ol pond of the Atlantic! (Thanks a ton for the invention of Skype) I am attending the University of St. Andrews in Scotland and I absolutely love it here. It’s a beautiful country with the most down-to-earth people and the town is the perfect bubble, small enough to run into someone you know each time you leave your flat, yet big enough that you can never be too bored. There are people from all over the world here, students and Professors, which is another reason why I am glad to be studying at St. Andrews. I am fascinated with traveling and experiencing diversity! I study biology at Uni, having just finished my second year. My plan is to finish my degree, BScHon in Biology and go on to medical school right after, here in the UK. However, I need much more experience than I currently have (before I even apply to study medicine), which is part of the reason why I am pursuing this project in Africa!!
