| Introduction | Hi, welcome, and thanks for reading! I'm Jayna, mom of inspiring 5- and 7-year-old sons and wife to a sweet, patient and wildly indulgent husband. I started blogging with healthy family recipes, but I'm no food photographer (and that seems to be an important part of the job). Today, I write two blogs: one (Musings of a Mature Mom) is a repository for things this old-ish mom finds funny, sad, or infuriating, while the other (A Year in Deer Haven) details my meanderings through the wildlife preserve near our home.
