Introduction	Kathleen Eagle is the best-selling author of more than forty novels and novellas. Her first book was published in 1984. Two years later she gave up her career as an English teacher on the Standing Rock (Lakota Sioux)reservation to write fulltime. She is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and has an MS from Northern State University.
