| Introduction | Rick and Cooky are "retired" former workers with IMB. We served for about 25 years in, first, the African country, Zambia, then in the Southeast Asian country of Thailand. Now we seek to serve in the USA. Rick is blessed with being on Staff at First Baptist Church Cumming, Georgia where he serves as the Director for the "50+Adult" ministry, teaches Bible study, works with "Stephen Ministry" and gets in people's way. Cooky serves as an awesome "Alto" singer in the amazing Church Choir, does all sorts of Admin tasks with Bible Study Class, "50+ Adult Ministry", and Choir. She also counsels Rick to keep him out of trouble most of the time. We have discovered that the world has many cultures and many live in our local community. We have the joy of sharing The Gospel with Indian Hindus, Eastern Europeans, Muslims from Turkey and other nations, and many from diverse Latino cultures. As always, we find that mostly people are the same. We all need love, respect, and a sense of security about our future. We're loving time w/family here in the USA, especially with our two dear grandsons, but missing our Thai family, friends and people a LOT too! |
