Introduction	"Just a small-town girl..." who happens to teach English and coach volleyball at her alma mater, Sullivan Central High School, which is where she met her husband, Christopher, who also teaches and coaches at SCHS. If you don't think that's pretty cool, you must be hard to impress. Sometimes I feel pretty worthless after a day of trying to teach 15-year-olds the difference between "your" and "you're" and the importance of thesis statements, and my other hobbies and interests can seem mundane and selfish. But then I remember these lyrics: "But then You assure me I'm a little more than useless; when I think that I can't do this, You promise me that I'll get through this and do something right for once." (Relient K) In these seemingly ordinary, everyday things, I have to remember that I can still bring glory to God. I am here. I have a purpose, and God has a plan. I must not waste opportunities. I will be proven useful.
