Introduction	Hi! My husband and I have been married for almost 12 years. In 2002, we were blessed with a wonderful child, our 9 year old son. When he was 4 1/2 years old, we decided it was time to add to our family. Although older, nothing prepared us for the road that laid ahead of us and having to deal with the harsh reality of secondary infertility. This is my story about trying to conceive as a woman "over 40" and facing the emotions, issues, struggles, disappointments, and hopefully the joys in doing so...thank you for joining me on this journey. GIVING PRAISE!! In June 2010, after 7 1/2 years of waiting and wanting, 3 years of fertility treatments, 2 miscarriages & 12 [Yes, you read that correctly...TWELVE] intrauterine inseminations (IUI's)...we welcomed our second beautiful and healthy son into this world! And so, my journey continues...
