Introduction	I am just an average Southern woman living the American dream and learning to appreciate the little things in life. One of the first things you might notice about me, especially if you aren't from the South, is my Southern accent. Traveling the globe with my Colorado born army soldier I have been learning to adapt to other cultures and perhaps other cultures have tried to learn to adapt to me. It's been an adventure that hasn't always been smooth sailing but it's my life and one thing I've learned is to try to find the positive in everything although I'm not always successful. My husband just recently returned from his second deployment to Iraq in 2010 and we soon found out our family was expanding to 3. Our son, Colton Valour was born Easter Sunday April 24, 2011. He has changed our world and made us better people. Being an army wife- spending so many days alone- and now a new mom -it's been the little things God has shown me that put a smile on my face. We may delve into the serious from time to time on this blog but for the most part you will be invited into the ridiculous ramblings of this Southern woman's mind. Hope you get a few laughs along the way.
