Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?
If you are looking to specialize, expandability is the way to go. However, I personally think it's best to know at least the basics of how to do a little of everything, that way you are prepared for just about anything thrown at you. The more stuff you get your feet wet with, the more used to the water you get. or something like that.
