IntroductionHmmm...let´s start from the beginning. We met at in the ghetto of New York City. That´s right, a country girl from California and a guy from Germany. When we moved to New York to work at Metro Ministries, we were put on the same ministry team. And well, the rest is history. After spending four months together doing Sidewalk Sunday School, driving a bus, painting props, and talking for hours while commuting to the Bronx, we started dating. We continued working at Metro and dating until November 2, 2009 when Daniel took Michelle to the top of the Empire State Building and asked her to marry him. Her exact words were, "Of course, I would love to!" Four months later, our dreams came true as we were pronounced "Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Kern." It was such a special day--with our family and friends there. We didn´t even mind that it was raining. Now, we live as newlyweds in Germany. Daniel plans to study in the Fall, and Michelle plans to learn German. And then she can think about getting a job=) God has taken us through so many adventures, and we´re excited to see what God will do next. Our heart is for missions...so after Daniel finishes college, we´ll see where God puts us.
