| Introduction | I am a printmaker living in New Orleans. What kind of printmaker? Old school. No digital, no DIY in the kitchen. A purist. Old-fashioned intaglio, specifically the acid etching process. THAT is my strength. Intaglio etching is labor intensive and the results are beautiful. My work consists of an ever-evolving subject matter meaning, there is no particular subject matter that I focus on. In the end, the process is important, not the end product. That being said, I do dabble in other mediums when my artist block kicks into full gear: painting, drawing, paper-making, writing, blah blah blah....you get the idea. I'm currently expanding my portfolio as well as my circle of fellow printmakers/paper artists. |
