Introduction	Through the combination of traditional painting, contemporary print and image transfer technique with textiles, such as lace and kimono silk on wood and canvas, I create decadent pieces that represent the simplicity and beauty of the female form. By exploring concepts of divinity and the sanctity of moments I create emotive snapshots where the viewer becomes a voyeur of caught glimpses and stolen moments.. each lady has a secret to tell .. the birds symbolise those secrets. I am inspired by the women and fashion of eras such as the belle epoque, 1920's dancehalls, silent movies and beyond. The work embodies an essence that is both a contemporary celebration and timeless reflection on the divine moment.
