Introduction	My name is Karen Pasquel, I am a Reading Specialist in a PA suburban/urban school district. I'm also National Board Certified Teacher. I created this blog to keep in touch with my family and friends. I'm also on facebook for the same reason. I come from a large family (Petersen) and grew up in Boonton, NJ. I'm a graduate of Morris Catholic. In 1990, I graduated with a degree in Education. In 1995, I obtained a Master’s Degree in Education & a Reading Specialist degree. I am a member of The International Reading Association. I've been a reading instructor at Northampton Community College in Bethlehem. During my personal time, I love to read, walk my dog, collect Dr. Seuss memorabilia, and take dance or yoga classes. My husband is Ray and we have 2 young boys,Austin & Timmy.
