| Introduction | I am living my childhood dream as a middle school art teacher! I'm a career changer. I used to work as a buyer in the Chicago Loop. That's when a friend introduced me to soulmate and husband. I then change my path and worked as a freelance artist and custom framer. My husband was a radio personality, music director, and part-time musician. After a few years of marriage we started our own business so he could pursue his music career full-time. When the business was well-established I went back to school to earn my art and elementary education degrees. Upon graduating I started teaching at Troy Middle School in Plainfield. I love working with kids and art is my favorite subject to teach. I hope to do this for a very long time! |
