| Introduction | My art studies began at a very early age in Shanghai, China, and included a wide range of art media and methods: Chinese Calligraphy and Brush painting as well as Western Oil Painting, both Landscape and Portraiture, and Contemporary Arts. I received a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. My works have been exhibited in many locations: for example, the Clinton Presidential Library ("Visualize a Bright Future", Private Collection); World Expo in Shanghai, 2010; the Jade Circle Demonstration at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco; the Art Museum in Cleveland (Private Collection) “The Garden of Allah" in Hollywood (Private Collection); the China Art Museum in Beijing; and the Shanghai Art Museum. My Calligraphy and Painting have also been represented in exhibitions in Japan, Taiwan and Europe, as well as in solo art exhibitions including UC Berkeley Extension: Oil Portraiture and Landscape/Chinese Calligraphy and Brush Painting; and the Academy of Fine Arts Gallery, SF: Oil Portraiture. Both PBS and CNN have created documentaries featuring my art. |
