Introduction	I am a 73 year old grandfather of four, a teacher of fine arts and English for 46 years, and a Democrat since 1964. My wife and I are retired and enjoy trips to Memphis, Conn. and California to visit daughters, partners, family and grandkids.

Favorite music	Frank Sinatra, Ella, Peggy, Judy, the American songbook, Tchaikovsky, most classical, film scores, jazz, old time rock and roll.
Favorite books	Howard's End, Bel Canto, Children of Men, The Good Husband, Father Melancholy, most of Vonnegut, F.Scott Fitzgerald, Chekov stories, etc.
