Introduction	We met in the summer of 2010 after Shawn's aunt set us up on a blind date. Shawn lived in Oklahoma, and I was going to school at BYU, so even though we had an amazing first date, we didn't really expect anything to happen. After Shawn left, we started texting and calling each other. Soon we were talking for hours each Sunday and sending packages to each other. Shawn came out for general conference in October 2010, where we discovered we had both fallen for each other. We decided the distance was too far for us to do anything then, so we kept it as a friendship. However, Shawn came up to Idaho to visit me before Christmas, and we decided then that even though it would be a year-long long-distance relationship we wanted to date. We started talking on the phone every night and had weekly Skype dates. We were able to see each other about every 2-3 months. In August 2011, Shawn came out to Idaho to visit before we both started school. On August 12th, he took me to the Idaho Falls greenbelt, and asked me to marry him. We were married in the Idaho Falls temple on December 30, 2011 and have enjoyed every minute of our eternity together!
