| Introduction | Siouxzi Rodeman, the creative founder of Nohwear, was tired of looking at all the boring umbrellas on Chicago’s rainy days. Noting that any umbrellas with designs were all boring patterns that could be easily slopped together at any factory. She asked one question, "Why be part of a sea of bland brollies?" And from there, Nohwear now creates Pop Brollies, custom-made umbrellas that stand out, even in the stormiest of weather. These bright bold designs include pop culture icons, videogame themes, bats, flowers, and so much more. Taking hours, even weeks to create, each one is designed and hand painted with meticulous attention to detail and is a fully functioning piece of art. |
