In the spirit of freedom ...I have been painting the American Flag for a full year now.(Oct.2011-Oct.2012) The focus...in this world of distractions...has been a tremendous teaching tool...the variations are endless as the flag moves with the wind...and the more I paint the flag the deeper I go into aspects of freedom...so many lessons...as a painter and as a person...the flag is teaching me aspects of living a life in freedom ...with gratitude and humility.... |
