| Introduction | Amader Pathshala is a social initiative and to ensure the social ownership it is registered as a trust. This trust aims to take initiatives in the field of education, research and social action pertaining to the intellectual and cultural heritage of Bangladesh and its people and especially the downtrodden people. To take this in action it has established a school for underprivileged children that can be replicated as a model for quality primary education and skill training. The members of the board of trustees are responsible for the overall financial and policy formulation of the trust. However, its day to day activities are managed by the School Management Committee consisting of representatives of board of trustees, teachers of the school and friends of Pathshala. Financial dealings are done by the trust account managed jointly by secretary of trust and its treasurer.
