| Introduction | Born of Greek heritage,I spent my teenage years growing up in Rivonia,South Africa. I enjoyed a very happy adolescence with a big group of friends, among them - the past leader of the Democratic Alliance and Premier of the Western Cape. I consider it an honour to be mentioned in her biography - Not Without a Fight. It was during this period that Mandela and the Communist party were plotting the overthrow of the Government.Their trial became infamous as The Rivonia Trial. I consider myself lucky to have been born under African Skies and to have spent my formative years in such a place. |
