| Introduction | Mum of 2, originally from Dublin, Ireland. Heading into my 40th year in 2011, I decided to take my New Year Resolutions very seriously, and attempt to make small changes in my life, with a little pushing from my better half. I gave up a very, very demanding job and took an opportunity offered to my hubby (the Soldier) to move to Dallas, Texas, along with my 2 year old daughter (Munchkin - not her real name btw). The point being to live life as opposed to just existing, meet new people, and basically regenerate some headspace that had been lost in the corporate world over the last 20 years. In the process I'm experiencing the American way of life and like to log the various experiences in this blog, that i would never have noticed as a tourist to this country before. |
