| Introduction | Twenty-eight years ago while sitting on the beach with my young children, I made my first basket out of a pile of willow trimmings someone had tossed there. That experience with my two sons, on a beautiful Puget Sound shoreline, kindled a passion for weaving baskets and creating art from natural materials. I thank my family, community, and all my teachers, for cultivating this gift in me. |
