| Introduction | Hello World! Technology's growing influence over our world has always been fascinating to observe. In my lifetime I have seen landlines become virtually obsolete and cell phones evolve into smart phones. Now large masses of people are more interconnected than ever before and have access to a plethora of information at our fingertips! The future is bright and I am excited to see how technology continues to progress. After years of being interested in the field I have finally decided to go for it and officially begin my journey into the world of computer science. I have virtually no experience in this area of study and this blog is my way of cataloging my experience as I trek forward towards a BS degree. I am hoping too one day shift my career from education to tech. In order to make a massive life change, I must first learn the fundamentals which I why I have enrolled in a computer software technology program. My hope is that through this program I will be able to adequately prepare myself to enter the workforce. Sharing my learning on this blog is my way of being able to see myself grow over time and hopefully this can also inspire those like myself to finally take the plunge! |
