A Suburban Mom Cooks - Everyday and (almost) Gourmet

Introduction	Suburban Mom from Central Indiana...that's me. I work full time and have a life full of great family and friends. I love to cook but preparing great meals for my family every day can be a challenge. I'm not always successful...sometimes "cooking" is warming up leftovers or making sandwiches. But being together as a family is first and foremost. My mom is from Germany and my dad from India, so growing up I was exposed to many ingredients and dishes that weren't typical where I was from. At the time, coming from these different cultures was almost a secret I kept. But now, I am grateful that I grew up knowing these different cultures. I started this blog to challenge myself. Sharing recipes and hopefully some laughs along the way is the bonus part for me. I rely on standbys, occasionally cop-out altogether (hello pizza guy!), but ultimately want to dive into all that is new and interesting whether it's Everyday or (almost) Gourmet. I have a great collection of recipes and ideas and can't wait to experiment and share.
