| Introduction | I am a political junkie. I was a Clinton delegate to the (D) convention in 2008, from Oregon’s 1st CD. I am now a registered Independent, having left the party behind after witnessing things in Denver that would make for a great book-by someone other than me. I feel strongly in the 2nd Amendment, as I do the Constitution in general. I love good friends. I enjoy good red wine; an occasional Macanudo Baron De Rothschild 25s.I love most all music, especially Chamber Music. I am an Air Force veteran, 79-82, was there during the Iranian hostage crisis. |

| Favorite books | Whatever is on the nightstand at the moment. Usually 4 or 5 books. I'm on an Egyptian binge atm, reading in the era 1500-1300 bce through 20 AD. Also sludging through Cheney's book, just for curiosity. Recently finished Jedediah Bila's book. And I always am reading an equal number of left of center books. It's not just prudent, but crucial, to read books from both perspectives. Otherwise, why not stay home all day talking to yourself in the mirror. |
