| Introduction | I am an US Army active duty 11B senior non-commissioned officer with over 19 years military experience. Throughout my career I have filled many rolls in the Infantry world and in such distinguished units as 3/75 Ranger Regt., 1/502nd INF, 1/508th ABN INF, 4/31 INF, 1/24 INF, and the 191 INF. I served a tour in Iraq in 2004 as an Advisor to an Iraqi Commando BN and conducted combat operations in Najaf and Fallujah in 2004. Most of my time is now spent training Soldiers preparing to deploy to Iraq, Afghanistan and the Horn of Africa. I believe there are three things that will define how a Soldier does in combat: mindset, training, and equipment. |
