| Introduction | I am a 35 year-old Adult Adoptee. After 12 years of marriage DH and I welcomed our first baby home from Guatemala in March 2008. My goal, through this blog, is to share my experience as both an Adoptee and as an AP. I'm finding that there are many emotions associated with adoption - some not so pretty - and that the adoption of my daughter, while amazing and wonderful, has also brought to the forefront a lot of the pain and sadness I never allowed myself to feel as an Adoptee! This is my story...and this is my JOURNEY...... |

When you hesitate before hitting snooze on your alarm clock, are you being lazy?
I don't hesitate! I usually wake up just before it goes off and keep my hand next to it so I can turn it off and go back to sleep as quickly as possible!
