| Introduction | Graduate student with a passion for empowerment on the community level. We are facing difficult times with employers moving out of town and leaving the rest of us without sufficient jobs to support our families and solutions don't seem to be coming from the government. Our future depends on our local communities and its citizens pulling together and supporting one another. We can no longer afford to support big businesses and those few that are reaping the benefits of our dependency upon consumer products and the drugs that pharmacuetical companies that are expoiting us for profit. It's time for community empowernment and self-sufficiency. Part of reshaping our communities involves taking care of our own health. My hobby is alternative therapies and I have spent years putting many alternative medicines to use. I enjoy kayaking, camping, reading and spending time with my family and friends.
