Favorite Movies	Splendor in the Grass, Thomas Crown Affair, Madeline childrens movies -"12 little girls in two straight lines" (smile)
Favorite Books	Ethan Frome, Wuthering Heights, novels of Thomas Hardy, P.D. James, Saul Bellow, E. Annie Proulx, classics, NY Review of Books, Harpers for years and years -- but no longer, Lapham's Quarterly, beautiful children's books that keep a child wide-eyed with interest; and on and on long into the past to "Henny Penny ran to tell the king the sky was falling". Still keeping my eye on that situation---
