| Introduction | I was born and raised in California by wonderful godly parents who enjoy reading, story telling, humor, music, poetry, art, the outdoors and "making do" with what's on hand. I received a Christian education, graduating from college with a nursing degree in 1977. I married soul mate Mark Keehnel in ’77 and together we've learned the meaning of each vow taken on our wedding day. We have two grown daughters and two grandchildren. First published in 1966 at age ten, I've continued to write poems, articles, letters, devotions, stories, recipes, children's literature and anecdotes. Current WIPs include several family history projects, a poetry chapbook and children's stories. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1998 while home schooling. After completing my daughter's education in 2000 I stopped nursing, but continued to minister through writing, offering support, comfort, hope and humor to those with MS and to their loved ones. My heart's desire is to shine for Jesus. Always, Francine Morrow Keehnel Member: Central Valley Christian Writers, ACFW, Academy of American Poets |
