Introduction	Just an old mountain boy ... lived in the flat land and other places but now.. back in the mountains.. who has seen a lot, done a lot, and can talk about almost anything. Love for God, country, and family about sums up my position on just about anything or everything. I learned a lot from those who came before me and especially love a saying given to me by my grandfather: "Speak of what you know, know of what you speak; the rest of the time keep quiet, you might learn something.” He was indeed a very wise man. I’ve tried to follow that advice and don’t mind passing it on to others. If nothing else, it makes one appear to be a lot smarter.

Favorite movies	Mr.Smith Goes to Washington, Shane, Anything with John Wayne. Gone with the Wind.
Favorite music	From Country(classic, not this faux junk being passed as country) Bluegrass, Classical, Gospel
Favorite books	The Iliad and the Odyssey, War and Peace, The Bible, History books of every sort.
