| Introduction | Nature and the out-of-doors have been an integral part of my life since growing up in Idaho and Yellowstone Park. Drawing, painting, woodburning, and creative writing are also passions. After raising a family with my wife and completing two careers, one as a commissioned officer in the Marine Corps and the other in the mental health and addictions field, I have time to develop my interests in painting, wood carving, and wood burning. All of the work I do is my own and is a work in progress, as you can tell. I am pursuaded that our Creator wants us to not only appreciate and care for the world of nature about us, but for all other human beings who share this remarkable earth. My work seeks to inspire such insight. |
