Introduction	I've been deaf most of my life. After considering the possibility of a cochlear implant for many years, I finally decided there were more reasons to give it a shot than not to try at all. This blog chronicles my adventures and mostly likely many bloopers along the way to "bionic" hearing. (Note slight sarcasm. I am realistic but optimistic! :) I have no idea how successful the end result will be, but the journey is just beginning.
