| Introduction | Welcome to my artist blog. I love anything to do with nature, color and telling a great story through art. I grew up around art all my life. I watched my dad draw and paint and thought for a long time that everyone's father was an artist. I had an art teacher in high school, Bob Whitney that me to draw well. I then went on to Ricks College (BYUI) and studied Graphic design. Various workshops in watercolor and oil have given me the extra element to improve my style and technique. My husband and I have raised six children and now have six grandchildren. We have lived in various states and Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Much of the inspiration from my art has been from beautiful nature subjects and travels from various places around the world. I'm always looking for interesting things to paint and am open to your suggestions and or commissions. |
