Introduction This is a beautifully furnished 4 1/2 room apartment in Montreal which is leased to two artists, Sarah and Ben. They make their living traveling around Canada and the US selling art, and so when they are away for long periods of time, the HOMA house is available for others to enjoy. They rent it for the same price that they pay to the landlord and so, the rates are about as cheap as they can be at $525 CDN per month for the whole place. The HOMA house gets it's name from the neighborhood in which it is situated, Hochelaga Maissoneuve, the oldest area of Montreal. The area is still the most francophone neighborhood in the city, with 92% of residents who speak French at home. The apartment is in a perfect location. A quiet street 5 buildings north of Rue Ontario ("Promenade Ontario") on which you will find a Metro grocery store, Ahroma Bakery (one of the best bakeries in Montreal), Le Septième (http://www.leseptieme.com/ they have every indie movie you want. There is an organic bulk foods store, library, lots of cafes, the Marché Maisonneuve, the Botanical Gardens, et al. METRO JOLIETTE is only 6 blocks away. There are two balconies and it comes fully furnished with everything.
